STRIKE!

There are a few perks to Patrick's job in DC. Every now and again he gets a special experience and his nerdy side just soaks it up. Thursday night was one of those times. Patrick and his co-workers were invited to go bowling...at the White House. No, the President did not join them, but it was still bowling at the White House.

They first had to make it past security which apparently did not have them as being cleared for that evening. Opps! So somebody who was engaged to somebody who knew somebody made a call and 45 minutes later they were in. Yes, that really does happen.

umm...might need to practice our selfie taking skills.

So he got in, enjoyed some presidential pizza and bowled with his colleagues. Friday he was off to Chicago for another conference and school visits. Ahh, dust doesn't settle under his feet these days!
